Certification Process

Get trained: Take the 2-day A-CSM course from a Global Registered Education Provider of Scrum Alliance. After you successfully complete the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance.
Validate experience: Log in to Scrum Alliance, complete your profile, answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the question on Marketing Opt-in, and accept the License Agreement. Validate at least 12 months of Scrum Master experience (within the past five years).
Become an Advanced-Certified Scrum Master: On validating your Scrum Master experience, you will be able to instantly download your A-CSM® certification instantly! Download the A-CSM℠ certificate.

Certification Renewal

A-CSM certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion. To renew, certified professionals must:

Earn 30 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) within the 2-year period
Pay the renewal fee
Agree to the Scrum Alliance Code of Ethics
