About PMI-ACP

The PMI-ACP® (Agile Certified Practitioner) training empowers you to become a skilled agile professional with knowledge of a broad range of agile methodologies. ACP is PMI’s fastest-growing certification and recently the PMI-ACP exam has been updated with the addition of the Agile Practice Guide.

This course covers agile methodologies, tools, and techniques and provides real-life scenarios throughout the course. It also includes the concepts of the newly added Agile Practice Guide, a reference resource for the PMI-ACP exam. This training program is aligned with the 2017 PMI® guidelines to help you pass your PMI-ACP exam.

Eligibility/Pre-Requisites

A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate degree, or global equivalent) or higher.
2000 hours of general project management experience in the last five year(Note: If you hold a PMP® or PgMP® certification, this requirement is waived.)
At least 1500 hours of experience working on agile project teams during the last three years.
Have 21 hours of formal training in agile practices (covered by our training)

Certification Process

Take the PMI-ACP training: 21 contact hours of Agile training.
Submit Application: Apply for the certification on the PMI website and wait for approval (5–10 days).
Pay Fees: Pay the PMI exam fee (refer the PMI website)
Schedule the Exam: Book the online or in-person exam at a testing center.
Take the Exam: Pass the 120-question multiple-choice exam within the 3-hour time limit.
Earn Certification: Receive your PMI-ACP® credential, valid for 3 years.

Certification Renewal

Earn PDUs: Accumulate 30 PDUs (Professional Development Units) in Agile topics within your 3-year certification cycle.
- At least 18 PDUs must come from Education (technical, leadership, or strategic learning in Agile).
- Up to 12 PDUs can come from Giving Back (e.g., mentoring, volunteering, or sharing Agile knowledge).
Submit Renewal Application: Log in to your PMI account and fill out the renewal application on the Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS) portal.
Pay the Renewal Fee
Application Approval: Wait for PMI to review and approve your application.
Renew Certification: Upon approval and payment, your certification is renewed for another 3 years.
